A very sad day indeed. Roger Ebert, an extremely talented journalist and film lover, has passed away at the age of 70 after suffering a long battle with cancer. On Tuesday, Ebert announced on his blog that he would be taking a "leave of presence" and reducing his workload after his cancer had returned. His latest (and now last) entry concluded with:
"So on this day of reflection I say again, thank you for going on this journey with me. I'll see you at the movies."
Our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
See you at the movies, Roger.
